“In my paintings, I hope to bring a greater understanding of the subtle beauty of the natural landscape, but more than that, to convey the mood of a special time, place, and season to the viewer. For example, I hope to bring a greater appreciation of the wistful beauty of the marsh in winter, or the tender triumph of spring as it unfolds.”
