Artist: Gail Harrison

Gail Harrison describes herself as a “late blooming naïve artist.” She was born in the South of England and now makes Connecticut her home. Her intriguing photographs illuminate images of nature and urban landscapes with unusual color and light. Her process is highly individual. She achieves her unusual effects with a unique digital process and her unique sensibility. Ms. Harrison’s art is deeply influenced by her philosophical belief in living life with an open spirit, and that everyone is an artist. Her art is, “a creation born to assist one in seeing things differently. It is grounded in the reality that there is always another way to see or do anything, a deeper more beautiful way. We just have to pause, observe and listen and be guided from within.” She believes, “Living life is an art. Color your canvas with joy.”
