I use color - primary, mixed or outrageous colors side by side - to form shapes and boundaries. I am interested in the illusion of an image - somwhere between abstraction and realism - where the image is recognizable but often not structured. I love curves and circles - lines that connect and disconnect. I love exaggerated reality. I work in a studio from memory and imagination. I paint few subjects, but I paint them many times…many ways, on both canvas and paper.
